The ability to access information all over the web is important. One reason is to get many people's opinions on the same subject. With other peoples opinions comes diversity. Diversity is the key to education because students need to expose themselves to many different subjects. If a student becomes exposed to many subjects he or she is more likely to find his or her passion. As an educator if a teacher can motivate at least one student to follow his her passion he or she has done a good job as a teacher.

As a teacher I would prefer my students to use the internet over the library. One reason is they can reach information much quicker.Another reason the internet is successful compared to libraries is one does not have to leave the comfort of his or her own home to get information. Also the internet is much more diverse than any other library in the world. If you are still against the the internet over library idea I still have one more point. One could use the internet to access multiple libraries over the internet.

The video mentioned also am important part of the internet. This is it can be used to preserve old information. The example used in the video was that of MLK Jr. It is important to preserve the information of the past not only in libraries but also on the web. Also what I find that is important about the internet is you can obtain information without even reading. The internet has plenty of information in the form of videos.
