Distance learning

The distance learning program is used to help schools interact with one another. It was founded in 2004 under Bob Riley. It also provides money for those lower income public schools to be able to have technology. With technology students are guaranteed equal access to information. Since one teacher is allowed to teach a class to students in many different places nobody is denied opportunity. Another good thing about it is students are guaranteed a highly certified teacher.

One of the best thing about it to me is that there is always a class. What I mean by this is no matter how many kids sign up for a class in a particular school there will always be a class. When I was in high school if not enough kids signed up for the class there would be no class. This distance learning program allows there to always be a class because the class is not just limited to one school. Another thing is this allows diversity. Students can learn from other students not local to them.
