Accessibility for All

The power point slide show I thought was a good idea to get the point across. In the beginning it went over basic definitions of web related terms. Then it went into depth on the legal issues passed by the disabilities of 1973 and there after. It then showed some of the cool pieces of hardware and software to help out those with disabilities. Some of the hardware included talking cellphones and a machine that turns writing into braille. Whereas the software was used to aid in multiple disabilities.

The first programs were for those with learning disabilities and low vision. For people with poor vision the Zoom software increases the font. There is also software that helps the blind by reading the text to you. There is also software for people who cannot use his/her hands as efficiently as others. This software is voice recognition software. I might think about getting this cause it would give my hands a break from typing.
