Podcast

The first podcast I listened to first was the KidCast one. It discussed the difference between an audio only podcast and one that has both video and audio. The speaker mentioned that video pod-casting is the highest quality of pod-casting. I would disagree with this because you do not have to always have video. Sometimes one can pass knowledge from one person to another by simply using audio. An example of this would be that current radio still exists and that television has not completely put radio out of business.

The smartboard podcast I found to be very odd. I thought it was going to teach someone how to operate a smartboard based on the comments listed on the podcast. In fact it ended up being more listening to a radio talk show. The guy from Canada I thought had a funny story about his plane trip. It was about flying on a tiny plane that had one seat on each side and the pilot was also the flight attendant. While as the lady wanted the guy to talk about end of year school ideas.

This week in photography was another podcast that was like a talk radio show. The podcast had been recorded in Canada. One guy who seemed to be on the phone line mentioned he had once been a professional bowler. He stated that using a wrist brace does not improve your game but if it feels right for you use it. The podcast hosts went onto talking about rumors. The bowler stated one could save years off his/her life if he/she did not pay attention to rumors. Then the podcast hosts told him that they did not they were just like penguins feeding their young. This is how the title of that podcast was originated.

MacBreak Weekly is another radio talk show type of thing. One of the guys talks about how much work is done during film making. He mentioned when they are trying to get in multiple shot in a day it takes a lot of employees to complete this task. As soon as a shot is finished people write down camera measurements and height. Then they talked about the new Snow Leopard operating system. It was mentioned you can get five Snow Leopards for the price of Windows new operating system.
